The Thing About the Royals Is...

Published by Sarah Davis

The thing about the Royals is that they are a chemically imbalanced group of ballplayers with an incompetent front office, and a narrow-minded redneck as a manager.

I'm not sure if chemically imbalanced is the right term, but there is definitely something wrong with the minds of our players right now. They all walk around with their heads held high like they're all the kings of this world. The slogan is 'Be Royal' not 'Be Cocky.' Eric Hosmer is a prime example. His recent boycotting of KC Sports Radio, 810 is nothing but immature, and childish.

The ineptitude of our front office is downright disgusting. 8 years ago, the Royals fans welcomed Dayton Moore. Dayton Moore soon took to the media, and said some mumbo-jumbo about a championship in Kansas City being a '10-year process.' How is that 10-year process working out for you, Mr. Moore? It's now year 8, and we are no closer to a championship then we were 10 years ago. People say to trust the process, but how long can you take being the doormat of the MLB?

I'm not totally convinced that Ned Yost is the Royals biggest problem. Ned Yost is definitely a problem. It always seems that he leaves pitchers in there way too long. His decision to start Brett Hayes over Fransisco Pena last week was just a downright awful one. I do give props to Nedly. With the talent (lack of) he has been given, I have come to the conclusion that it does not matter the order you line up those 9 guys, they will still continue to fall on their face until we get a consistent power bat in that lineup.

The thing about the Royals is that they are just a big bunch of cotton-headed-ninny-muggins. For those of you that have not seen 'Elf' you guys are missing out.
