Looks like "83 by you" wasn't so by the Mariners yesterday. It seems to me, it's been like that the whole spring. Last year, '83 by you' worked for Bruce Chen, but thus far in spring training, his pitching ability has been horrendous. In my opinion, Dayton Moore never should've signed him. We could've saved that money to get a legitimate pitcher, or at least one that throws over 85 miles per hour. Should we all just mark all of his starts as a loss? Is he a lost cause? Yes to both. I was watching on Fox Sports Kansas City last night, and announcer, Steve Physioc said, and I quote, "Bruce Chen is more of a fly ball pitcher." No, really Phys? I didn't think the other team could hit so many homeruns via ground ball. Last night was an atrocity all the way around. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
